Legal G20 takes place in Brazil for the first time

At the invitation of the Brazilian Bar Association, representatives of the Association of Lawyers of Russia attended the inaugural meeting and installation of the Legal G20 online.

The conference entitled «Building a Just World and a Sustainable Planet» took  place on April 18-19, 2024, in Rio de Janeiro, and brought together leaders of the bar associations and law societies from over 20 countries.

The initiative is aimed at establishing a platform for dialogue and exchange of experiences, in which the legal communities could collaborate in the preparation of legal recommendations relevant to the G20 leaders, as well as foster cooperation among nations on legal issues of common interest.
