BRICS legal communities meet in Geneva

During the visit to Geneva, Switzerland, on 7-8 February 2020, the Co-Chairman of the ALRF, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the SAIL Sergey Stepashin met with the President Elect of the Bar Association of India Prashant Kumar, and Secretary General of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Brazilian Bar Association Bruno Barata.

The meeting was also attended by the CEO – Chief of Staff, Vice Chairman of the Board of the ALRF Stanislav Alexandrov; member of the Presidium of the ALRF, Rector of the Swiss Academy for International Law Alexey Klishin; and Head of the Department for International Development of the ALRF Cha Mi Vu.

The parties discussed preparations for the next BRICS Legal Forum to be held on 18-19 May 2020 in Saint-Petersburg, Russia, along with the International Youth Legal Forum and the Saint-Petersburg International Legal Forum.
