ALRF Co-Chairman meets with Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Russia

On October 12, 2021, the Co-Chairman of the Association of Lawyers of Russia Sergey Stepashin met with the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Russia Ermek Kosherbaev in Moscow to discuss a potential cooperation between Russian and Kazakh institutions in the field of law and legal education.

The meeting was also attended by member of the Presidium of the ALRF Alexey Klishin, Vice Rector for Development of the Swiss Academy of International Law (SAIL) Nikolai Elistratov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the ALRF Stanislav Alexandrov, and Head of the Department for International Development of the ALRF Cha Mi Vu.

Sergey Stepashin spoke about the activities of the ALRF and the SAIL and stressed the importance of strengthening relations in the context of the EAEU.
«Given the relevance of cooperation within the EAEU, communication with Kazakhstan is extremely important for us,» the ALRF Co-Chairman noted.

At the end of the meeting, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Russia invited Sergey Stepashin on an excursion to the Embassy’s museum.
