Annually, ALRF takes part in largest international conferences to share views and experience of the Russian legal community.


Each year the SPILF becomes the major venue for legal experts from all over the world and is supported by the President and Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation.

Over the years of its existence, the SPILF has become a leading global platform for discussing topical issues facing the modern international legal community.

The key mission of the Forum is to promote the ideas of modernisation of the law in the context of current global changes.

Plenary session is traditionally attended by the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, PhD in Law, Dmitry Medvedev. The Forum programme also includes discussion sessions, satellite events, lectures. presentations, masterclasses and social programme.

In 2018, ALRF representatives became part of the SPILF panel discussions and held a meeting with delegation from China headed by Zhang Minqi, Vice President of the China Law Society.



SPIEF is a unique event in the world of economy and business. The Forum was first held in 1997 and since 2006 has taken place under the patronage and with the participation of the President of the Russian Federation.


Over the years, the Forum has become a leading global platform for business representatives to communicate and discuss key economic issues facing Russia, emerging markets and the world as a whole.

Since 2015, within SPIEF, the Association of Lawyers of Russia held its own session entitled Competitiveness of Russian jurisdiction – the way to an economy of trust through improving the legal environment for business.



The EEF was established by the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin in 2015. In accordance with the Decree, the EEF is held annually in Vladivostok. The business program of the Forum includes a number of business dialogues with leading partner countries in the Asia-Pacific region, as well as with ASEAN – a key integration group of actively developing countries of South-East Asia.

On September 11, 2018, as part of EEF, the Association of lawyers of Russia held its own session «Competitiveness of Russian jurisdiction: space of freedom for entrepreneurship«. The session was moderated by Chairman of the Board of the Association Vladimir Gruzdev. At the invitation of the Association, the session was also attended by the Vice-President of the Association of Lawyers of Vietnam Duong Thanh Bac.



In 2018, ALRF was for the first time invited to attend the ASEAN Law Conference “The power of one: unlocking opportunities in ASEAN through law”. The Conference is the largest event for lawyers from ASEAN  and is hosted every year by the ASEAN Law Association (ALA).



HDIM of OSCE participating States is Europe’s largest annual human rights and democracy conference. It is organised every year by the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) as a platform for the 57 OSCE participating States, the OSCE Partners for Cooperation, OSCE structures, civil society, international organisations and other relevant actors to take stock of the implementation of OSCE human dimension commitments, discuss associated challenges, share best practices and make recommendations for further improvement.




The Forum on Minority Issues aims at addressing the interrelatedness and interconnection between the promotion and protection of the human rights of persons belonging to national or ethnic, religious and linguistic minorities and statelessness.

The Forum meets annually for two working days allocated to thematic discussions. A Special Rapporteur on minority issues guides the work of the Forum, prepares its annual meetings and reports on the thematic recommendations of the Forum to the Human Rights Council.




The Euro-Asian Law Congress was established by the Association of Lawyers of Russia in 2007 as a special discussion platform, where representatives of the state, business and public circles can set challenges for professional lawyers. The solutions to these problems are intended to contribute to the efficiency of the European-Asian cooperation.

The Euro-Asian Legal Congress has become one of the largest legal forums and is the hallmark of Russia and the Sverdlovsk region in the global legal community.

In September 2018, the ALRF with the support of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Ural Federal District, the Governor and the Sverdlovsk Legislative Assembly held the XII session of the Euro-Asian Legal Congress entitled «Law and justice: global challenges» at the Ural State Law University.



Each year, RIF brings together representatives of business and international companies from 65 countries, and from more than 40 regions of Russia.

The business program of the forum is focused on improving the system of public administration, and on the development of regional entrepreneurship, digital technologies, human capital, health care, the social sphere and more.
